It should be a nail gel that anyone can use at their ease. For those, is our belief that we stick to "selecting materials" as a first step. We carefully conceder the effects on the human body of the raw materials, that is why we select the materials with high standards of safety.

Resin

Main part of gel nail. Regarding the main component used in “Sofirah”, the resin, we collaborate with raw materials suppliers to manufacture our original synthetic resin. Among them, we use properly several kinds depending on the required performance such as adhesion, sustainability, transparency and gloss.

Pigment

Since the pigment, the element of the color, does not dissolve even in water or oil, we color the resin by making it into fine particles and uniformly mixing it. Since pigment remains as fine particles unlike dye, it does not penetrate the skin tissue, it has a character of less pigmentation to skin and nails.

添加剤

Additive

It is possible to make gel nail more functional by improving the leveling property by smoothing the surface of the gel, preventing sedimentation of the pigment, enhancing the light fastness.

"Sofirah" carries out thorough inspection in each process of manufacturing, as well as pre-shipment inspection, under our own quality control system. Everyone involved in manufacturing has high awareness of quality control, and we provide reliable products to customers.

  1. 01

    Standard color creation

    Our engineer mixes carefully selected pigment, resin and additives to make a standard color. There is a difference in texture, gloss and adhesion even with one resin, we achieve the ideal finish by changing the composition of the materials little by little according to the application.

  2. 02

    Color matching

    By combining the standard colors in the color matching room, we reproduce the exquisite color as ideal At this time, adjust the viscosity by preparing a Clear gel together.

  3. 03

    Mixing

    After mixing to a certain extent, next to the mixing room. Mix the gel after color matching evenly by stirring it by a machine. Stirring for approximately 3 minutes will result in a clean and smooth finish.

    Comparison

    Whether the correct color was formed or not, pass / fail judgment is done with a color difference meter which quantifies the color. Also compare the printed color with the standard color, reviewed as well by an expert's eyes. In addition, various inspections are carried out using UV irradiators and viscosity measuring instruments.

    Filling up

    The finished color gel goes through a defoaming operation and is put in a container with a filling machine. Accuracy and cautiousness are required for work while measuring the specified amount. We carefully fill up each one by hand.

  6. 06

    Labeling

    All labels are stamped on filled containers by hand. It is a process that affects the visual beauty of each product, so we cannot get rid of it. A skill of maturity that balances speed and carefulness stands out.

  7. 07

    Measurement / printing

    Containers filled with gel are transported to the measurement / printing line. We measure whether the contents are filled correctly, and for products without problems finally print lots on the bottom of the container. Finally product is complete.

  8. 08

    Box packing

    Pack gels carefully one by one with human hands after finishing all the processes. At the same time, we are final checking the product with human eyes. We check to the details and deliver it to everyone.

We are always conscious of making products that are beyond the competition. First of all, finding good ingredients is important. However, it was hard to find a synthetic resin suitable for the high level pursued by "Sofirah". Therefore, before starting product development, we started from the development of the original resin dedicated to raw material "Sofirah".Developing from the main raw material was a hard work which requires labor and time. Nonetheless, we thought that it was the best way to make a good product. We first considered safety, completed high-performance synthetic resin that can satisfy customers' requirements such as sustainability and viscosity. And finally we could move to color development. Our mission is to pursue quality that exceeds everybody's expectations firmly by drawing out various requests of customers who use gel nails. We will continue to research and improve and continue making efforts to create ideal products.

Toning

Even if you say "red" in one word, there are various kinds such as deep red, light red, pale yellowish red. The number of colors that can be expressed exists indefinitely depending on the combination of different colors and the amount added. Our job is to faithfully reproduce the color idealized by "Sofirah", feeling the shades and tones of such fine colors. This color matching work requires skilled technique. I can also imagine the design drawing of an approximate color at the head just by looking at the color at the moment.
In that case, we try to reproduce the color as desired with as few colors as possible, because we are pursuing not only the beauty of color but also the high reproducibility. Of course, all the recipes of the formulation that has been digitized are recorded in the color to be produced, but ultimately what to trust is my own eyes. While correcting delicate differences that the human eyes feel well, I create an ideal color. From now on I want to continue making one color one color, carefully and speedily, without color shift.

Manufacturing

We are in charge of the whole process of the manufacturing site from preparation to packing. All of these may be thought to be automated by machine, but human hands are involved properly. Both gel filling and labeling on containers are handled one by one manually. The spirit of "Sofirah" with TEINEI is still alive here, which makes products with the hands of the people until the end. We pay special attention to a series of tasks of filling with the specified amount and labeling on the cap. We label as beautiful as it attracts customers even when it lines up with other items. We also work on checking whether there is neither scratches nor dirt on the container and cap. All of the persons in charge at any place are similar, and all of them are thoroughly inspecting whether the products are not defective. Otherwise, we can not deliver with confidence to our customers. "Sofirah" promises to everyone that it is a carefully finished product one by one, not touching the end until the end.
